Our Programs

Vida y Salud connects Latino families in Spartanburg County with the resources, education, and support they need to live healthier lives.

Led by Certified Community Health Workers who understand the language, culture, and values of the community, the program works to break barriers to healthcare, education, and social services. Our team builds trust, listens with empathy, and walks alongside families to ensure they can access services with dignity and confidence.

Vida y Salud is a culturally centered program that supports Latino families across Spartanburg County by connecting all family members, parents, children, and youth, with vital health, education, and social resources. While we support the whole family, we place a strong emphasis on perinatal care, mental health, and building resilience starting in early childhood.

Using the Community Health Worker (CHW) model, our team walks alongside families, offering personalized, compassionate support in Spanish. We help navigate our community resource systems, connect families to medical and mental health care, provide early childhood assessments and parenting education, and connects children to services to ensure school readiness, higher education and the general wellbeing of our participants.

At the core of Vida y Salud is a commitment to health equity. We implement evidence-based interventions in Spanish to address the unique needs of the Latino community, promoting healthy pregnancies, supporting emotional well-being, and empowering families to thrive from generation to generation.

Vida y Salud is more than a service, it's a trusted, culturally grounded space where families feel seen, supported, and strengthened.
