Boiling Springs, SC, (December 2, 2016): Chartwells School Food Service has given a donation in the amount of $6,200 to the Upstate Family Resource Center in Boiling Springs, SC. Chartwells School Food Service is a subsidiary of Compass Group USA, a recognized leader in foodservice management and hospitality within the academic community, Chartwells aims to help students make the connection that their diet can affect how they feel, look, and perform.
Chartwells has been a donor of the Upstate Family Resource Center for the last several years, not only financially but by collecting gifts for the Christmas for Kids Program and assisting with fundraising events.
UFRC’s Executive Director, Kelley Ezell said, “Our partnership with Chartwells increases our capacity to serve and strengthen our community. This financial support is greatly appreciated.”

The Upstate Family Resource Center serves the Spartanburg School District 2 attendance area, which encompasses communities of Boiling Springs, Chesnee, Mayo, Cooley Springs, Fingerville, and Inman.
